Our storers continue to have access 7 days a week from 5am to 10pm and our office hours remain unchanged as follows:

9am – 1pm Saturday

Springwood:

Looking after our staff and customers
The health and safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority and we continue to implement measures to minimise the risk of transmission. These measures include:

  • Increased cleaning of our facilities including twice daily cleaning of the surfaces most commonly touched by our customers including access keypads, door handles, light switches, roller door switches, lift buttons and trolley handles.
  • Reduced number of staff on-site at any time and asked our storers to minimise the number of people they bring with them to our facilities.
  • Allowing only one customer in our office area at a time to ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained.
  • Testing and implementing new systems to enable remote and contactless move-ins for our new storers.

Will we be staying open?
Events are unfolding rapidly and policies on social distancing and business closures are changing frequently. At the moment we are open and able to assist both current and new customers. It is the opinion of the Australian Self Storage Association that we will be able to continue operating although we may have some restrictions placed on operating hours or services.

Storage facilities are an important part of the goods distribution network around Australia as we provide warehousing support services for essential businesses such as pharmacies and medical supply firms. We also have many small businesses that use our storage units as the warehouse for their online business stock.

In addition we have many new customers with a sudden need for short term storage triggered by the pandemic. This includes businesses whose retail outlets have closed and who now need space for storage of stock and young adult children and university students who have had to move out of shared housing and back home who need a storage unit for their furniture.

We will continue to monitor information from both the NSW and Commonwealth Governments and will update our Facebook page and website with any changes to our operating hours or services.
